Wilkinsburg Community Ministry to Take Part in Pittsburgh Foundation's Day of Giving

On October 13, 2010, all charitable donations made through PittsburghGives.org will receive a portion of The Pittsburgh Foundation's $500,000 matching pool. Give to Wilkinsburg Community Ministry at anytime on that day and your gift will make an even greater impact in our community.

Wilkinsburg Community Ministry relies on the good people of our community to support our programs, help the hungry, the sick, the elderly, and change lives for the better.

Mark your calendar for this year's Day of Giving on October 13.

Through PittsburghGives.org, you can make a donation to support the mission of the Wilkinsburg Community Ministry in just a few steps:

•  Go to http://www.pittsburghgives.org on October 13 th .

•  Click on Day of Giving.

•  Click on Donate Now.

•  Enter your name, email and phone number in appropriate boxes. From the drop down box select Wilkinsburg Community Ministry as the organization you would like to give to. Enter donation amount. Minimum donation is $25.

•  Enter in your credit card information on our secure server and click “submit”. You will receive confirmation and an email will be sent to you for tax purposes.

Your support will go directly towards the programs WCM provides to the community – emergency food, meals on wheels for seniors, meals to at-risk youth programs, food bags for the holidays, and other urban survival programs.
